Bikini Care

Each Janne Ibiza piece is handmade with care. Proper washing and storage will help maintain the colour, elasticity and shape of your bikini so you can enjoy it season after season.

Hand Washing (Recommended)

1. Rinse immediately

After wearing your bikini, rinse it with cold water to remove salt, chlorine and sunscreen.

2. Prepare cold water

Fill a basin with cold water. Avoid hot water, as heat can damage the fabric and elastic.

3. Add gentle detergent

Use a mild detergent suitable for delicate fabrics or swimwear. Avoid harsh detergents or fabric softeners.

4. Soak briefly

Let the bikini soak for 10–15 minutes, gently moving it in the water. Do not twist or wring the fabric.

5. Rinse thoroughly

Rinse with clean cold water until all soap residue is removed.

6. Remove excess water

Press the bikini gently inside a towel to absorb water. Do not twist or wring.

7. Air dry

Lay flat or hang to dry in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight, which can fade colours and weaken fibres.

Machine Washing (If Needed)

Although hand washing is recommended, you can occasionally machine wash your bikini.

1. Use a laundry bag

Place the bikini in a mesh laundry bag to protect the fabric.

2. Select a delicate cycle

Wash on a gentle cold-water cycle using minimal detergent.

3. Air dry only

Never tumble dry. Always allow your bikini to air dry naturally.

Leather Bikini Care

Our leather bikini's are designed to be worn in the water and can be enjoyed for swimming. As with any exceptional material, they deserve thoughtful care to preserve their beauty over time.

After use, allow the piece to dry naturally. Avoid leaving it exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods, as too much sun may alter or damage the leather. We recommend drying it in a shaded, airy place.

To maintain the softness and suppleness of the leather, apply a small amount of Nivea cream every one to two years and gently massage it into the surface.

As leather is a natural material, subtle changes in texture are part of its unique character.
